Qualifications

• Completion of an MSN or DNP program.
• National certification by ANCC or AANPCB.
• State NP licensure.
• Adult and geriatric patient experience.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, multi-priority handling and deadline meeting.
• Detail oriented with a positive attitude.
• Strong clinical skills across medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical records or other documentation systems.
• Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices.
• Ensure quality of tests being performed.
• Analyze and interpret test results (e.g., PFTs, chest x-rays, ABIs, EKGs).
• Refer patients for further diagnostic testing as needed.
• Relay information between clinics and physicians as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
