Atlas Medical Consultants is seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Bakersfield, CA team. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include CA NP licensure (or ability to obtain), an MSN or DNP, and DEA prescriptive authority. We value strong communication and EHR proficiency in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active NP license and certification (FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty).
• Current CA NP licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in CA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and follow-up care per state regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for optimal outcomes.
• Document encounters accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses.
