Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Coatesville seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a 6-10 hour/week contractor role at our Highland Corporate Center location in Coatesville, PA starting May 2026.

Fridays and 1-2 Saturdays per month, mornings, with no on-call requirements. Preferred bi-lingual English/Spanish candidates; you will provide high-quality preventive care and weight-management services while coordinating with the supervising physician.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Pennsylvania.
• DEA certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience in weight management or preventive care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient medical and psychosocial history relevant to care.
• Conduct physical examinations per guidelines.
• Order and review labs and diagnostics (including ECGs).
• Deliver preventive medicine and program education on products and supplements.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines per supervising physician's agreement.
• Maintain EMR documentation and patient medication records.
• Review patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Facilitate referrals to other providers and facilities.
• Conduct follow-up calls to discuss progress and concerns.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Obtain and review patient's medical and psychosocial history information relevant to patient care.
• Conduct physical examinations according to company guidelines.
• Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, including ECGs.
• Deliver Preventive Medicine Counseling, Program counseling, and Product and Supplement Education.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines as per the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician.
• Maintain required documentation for patient care and medication management in the EMR according to company standards.
• Review patient progress and manage patient care accordingly.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
• Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns

General Responsibilities:

• Review of patient weight management reportsand assigned KPIs to provide clinical oversight and mentor clinical staff.
• Serve as the company liaison for medical and clinical affairs at the locations.
• Participate in ongoing training initiatives and serve as the in-house trainer for medical staff where appropriate.
• Seek opportunities to improve franchise clinical operations' efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity.
• Develop strategic recommendations to support patient experience improvement initiatives.
• Program Development - Participate in the launch of test pilots for new programs, services, and products.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills and effectively develop and monitor project work plans.
