Medi-Weightloss Covington is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in Covington, KY. This full-time/part-time/PRN role focuses on delivering quality weight-management care within a supportive, patient-centered practice.

You will conduct comprehensive exams, review labs, provide counseling, and adhere to prescription guidelines under the supervising physician. The position includes non-on-call hours, flexible scheduling, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Obtain and review medical and psychosocial history relevant to patient care.
• Perform physical examinations per guidelines.
• Order and review labs and diagnostics including ECGs.
• Provide preventive medicine counseling and education on programs, products and supplements.
• Follow prescription guidelines per supervising physician.
• Document patient care and medications in the EMR per standards.
• Review patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Facilitate referrals to other clinicians and facilities.
• Conduct follow-up calls to discuss progress and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Weekly review of Weight Tracker Report, Slipping Report, and KPIs to provide clinical oversight and mentorship.
• Serve as medical liaison for locations and clinical affairs.
• Participate in ongoing training and act as in-house trainer.
• Identify opportunities to improve franchise clinical operations.
• Develop strategic recommendations to improve patient experience.
• Collaborate on program launches and pilots for new services.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient's medical and psychosocial history information relevant to patient care.
• Conduct physical examinations according to company guidelines.
• Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, including ECGs.
• Deliver Preventive Medicine Counseling, Program counseling, and Product and Supplement Education.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines as per the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician.
• Maintain required documentation for patient care and medication management in the EMR according to company standards.
• Review patient progress and manage patient care accordingly.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
• Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns

General Responsibilities
