Qualifications

• Requires Indiana RN licensure and current license to practice as an NP in Indiana.
• Prescriptive authority under Indiana Nurse Practice Act with physician collaboration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required by unit policy.
• DEA and CSR registrations for controlled substances as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status through history and physical examinations.
• Develop treatment plans to maximize health potential for individuals and families.
• Order and adjust medications under collaborative agreement or physician supervision.
• Provide consultative education and support to health team members and patients.
