Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System in Lumberton, Texas seeks a full-time Clinic Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care with occasional inpatient coverage. The NP will assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate referrals in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include orders for labs/imaging, prescribing medications within scope, and delivering preventive care and wellness guidance.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted APRN license in Texas.
• National board certification as Nurse Practitioner.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in primary care, family or internal medicine preferred.
• Ability to work outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute/chronic conditions; create care plans.
• Order/interpret labs and imaging; adjust treatment as needed.
• Prescribe medications per Texas scope-of-practice rules.
• Provide preventive care, screenings, and patient education.
• Coordinate referrals and discharge planning when required.
