About the Role:

The Nurse Practitioner in the Cardiology Clinic plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients across diverse age groups and backgrounds. This position involves conducting detailed patient assessments, diagnosing cardiac conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals. The Nurse Practitioner will manage both acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases, ensuring continuity of care through patient education, medication management, and follow‑up evaluations. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification (Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, or other appropriate certification).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology or a related specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) certification or other cardiology‑related certification.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary cardiology clinic or hospital cardiology department.

Responsibilities:
