Position Details

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work within the outpatient practice of the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC). The role involves collaboration with physicians, NP peers, registered nurses, and other team members under the supervision of on-site cardiologists.

The successful candidate will be trained in outpatient cardiology areas such as cardiology clinics, electrophysiology, arrhythmias, and stress testing. Both experienced and recent graduates with prior cardiology outpatient or inpatient experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

1. Work alongside cardiologists to manage patients with hypertension, high cholesterol, and acute conditions like coronary artery disease, heart failure, and stroke.
2. Provide outpatient electrophysiology services, including managing arrhythmias and device patients.
3. Perform history taking, examinations, prescribe medications, and provide patient education.
4. Coordinate patient referrals and receive supervision from cardiologists.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program pertinent to the department, with certification.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 annually. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, disability, malpractice insurance, retirement plans with matching, continuing education credits, flexible schedule, and more.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no night shifts, calls, or weekends.
