  • Provide education to patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, diagnosis, goals of therapy, and the treatment plan
  • Foster a culture of safety, reporting, and continuous quality improvement
  • Manage daily operations of all non-clinical departments of the AIC in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation of all matters
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with health system providers and stakeholders
  • Ensure care is delivered in compliance with applicable laws, rules, requirements, accreditation standards, and internal policies and procedures, including appropriate documentation of complaints, grievances, errors, adverse events, and other unanticipated outcomes
  • Are a licensed nurse practitioner in the state of Maryland
  • Have experience administering infusions of biologic therapies and managing infusion-related reactions
  • Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge with an exceptional bedside manner
  • Are a clinical leader who enjoys supervising, coaching, and supporting infusion nurses while fostering a collaborative, supportive culture
  • Apply strong critical thinking to proactively identify, assess, and respond to issues within the AIC
  • Are capable of working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers to promote quality care and outstanding service
  • Communicate with impact, including active listening, speaking, and effective writing, and can organize a multi-faceted workload for efficient use of time
  • Demonstrate cultural competency, compassion, and advocacy across the health care team
