Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing required.
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licensure.
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Previous progressive experience in clinical practice preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess health status of patients through history and examination.
- Initiate therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
- Educate and counsel on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Document findings and treatment plans in patient records.
- Consult with physicians as necessary.
