Qualifications

• Graduate or higher-level nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Active NP license in the United States and eligibility for licensure in the location of the position.
• Advanced Practice Nurse qualifications per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostics to form diagnoses.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and follow guidelines.
• Diagnose or treat acute health problems, infections, and injuries.
• Prescribe medications considering efficacy, safety, dosage, and frequency.
• Educate patients on self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
