Job summary

BrightView LLC in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient addiction treatment team. You will collaborate with a licensed physician, implement treatment plans, and provide medical input to support comprehensive care for patients.

The role includes mentoring, professional development, training, emergency response, and ensuring compliance with accrediting standards. Qualified candidates hold an active FNP/APRN license, 3–5 years' experience (1 year in addiction

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent required.
• Active state licensure as FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred, with at least 1 year in addiction treatment setting.
• DEA licensure as required by BrightView.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical subjects related to treatment.
• Participate in trainings required by federal and state agencies and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and present training content on medical topics related to substance use disorders and health practices.
• Provide medical services within the scope of education, training and expertise.
• Ensure medical quality standards for patients and employees.
• Provide medical input into program philosophy, services and patient care.
• Respond to emergency care providers requiring consultation for patients.
• Collaborate with other physicians, clinics or hospitals involved in patient care.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and external seminars/trainings.
• Maintain understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and current treatment information.
• Develop professional relationships with patients and team members.
