Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Possession of a current medication-furnishing license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Six months of work experience as a Health Care provider treating patients in a long-term care facility.
Responsibilities
- Provides routine preventive and continuity of care to adult and/or pediatric patients.
- Orders diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and X-rays.
- Consults with physicians on the diagnosis and treatment of complex patient conditions.
