Martin's Point Health Care Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Access Clinic in Portland, ME.

The NP will work with the care team to obtain histories, perform examinations, and prescribe medications within delegated privileges while coordinating patient care with supervising physicians. Candidates must complete an accredited NP program, hold a state RN license, APN/ANCC or AANP certification, and a valid DEA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active APRN license with DEA privileges.

Responsibilities

• Elicits a detailed and accurate patient history and performs exams.
• Creates and implements treatment plans and prescribes medications as delegated.
• Performs routine diagnostics and basic procedures within scope.
• Collaborates with supervising physicians and care team to coordinate patient care.
