Role Description This full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role is based at YUCCA FAMILY MEDICAL CARE, INC. in Yucca Valley, CA. The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including performing health assessments, diagnosing and managing common acute and chronic conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications as appropriate, conducting follow-up visits, and delivering preventive care such as screenings, immunizations, and patient education. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate care, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and support quality improvement initiatives. The Nurse Practitioner will also participate in patient counseling, promote wellness and disease prevention, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and compliant clinical environment.
