Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a contract assignment at a Beaumont, VA correctional facility. The NP will perform physical examinations, preventive health measures, and respond to emergencies, with a Mon-Fri 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule and an ASAP start.

Responsibilities include ordering diagnostics, prescribing per regulations, maintaining records, educating staff, and delivering care within licensure scope and facility policies.

• Orders and performs diagnostic procedures.

• Provides education to patient, healthcare and correctional staff.
• Performs care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by facility.
