Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions, developing care plans with physicians, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients, with emphasis on compassionate, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Active NP license inFlorida (or ability to obtain)
• MSN or DNP from accredited program
• Board certification as FNP or AGNP
• Experience in internal medicine or primary care preferred
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, detail-oriented patient care

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within an internal medicine setting
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and manage pharmacological treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists and ancillary services

Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain)
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP)
• Experience in internal medicine, primary care, or a related clinical setting preferred
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care
