Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Nassau County, NY, is seeking a progressive Nurse Practitioner to join our network of urgent care centers. This full-time role requires adult and pediatric experience and offers autonomy with mentoring and support.

You will work in centers equipped with imaging, labs and an advanced EMR, with competitive compensation, a sign-on bonus of $15,000 and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• NP: 2+ years full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Experience treating adults and children preferred.
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs/X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care assessment and treatment for all ages.
• Collaborate with physicians and on-site staff to coordinate care.
• Order and interpret basic labs/imaging as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• NP: 2 or more yrs. of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
