Job summary

Clarius Medical Group, PLLC is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care across a 100% outpatient setting. The role requires facility coverage across Clear Lake, Kemah, and Southeast Houston with a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management for adults 16+.

Training is provided, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, board certification in family or adult medicine, and current Texas licensure with DEA eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
• Board Certification through AANP or ANCC focusing on family or adult medicine (or Accredited PA certifications).
• Currently licensed as an Acute, Adult/Gerontological, or Family Nurse Practitioner in TEXAS (or ability to obtain).
• Prescriptive Authority: active DEA registration or eligibility.
• CPR and BLS certifications are up-to-date.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communication abilities; proficient with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Facility Coverage: Float between facilities in Clear Lake, Kemah, and Houston.
• Patient Care: Manage day-to-day primary care needs for a 16+ and adult-aged population.
• Chronic Disease Management: Emphasize continuity of care, health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaboration: Work with physicians and facility staff in an integrated, team-based approach.
• Schedule: Rotating and flexible on-call schedule, may include some weekends.

About the Role Clarius Medical Group, PLLC is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care and family medicine services. This is a unique, 100% outpatient facility-based opportunity. While the work is performed within a behavioral hospital environment (ages 16+), this role is strictly focused on medical management.

You will work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat general health concerns, prioritize preventative care, and proactively manage chronic conditions. This fast-paced role is ideal for providers who excel at problem-solving and want to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Facility Coverage: Float between facilities in Clear Lake, Kemah, and Houston.

Qualifications

• Education & Certification: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher. Board Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) OR American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) focusing on family or adult medicine. Accredited PA certifications also considered.
• Licensure: Currently licensed as an Acute, Adult/Gerontological, or Family Nurse Practitioner in TEXAS (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Prescriptive Authority: Holds or is eligible for active DEA registration.
• Certifications: Up-to-date CPR and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Skills: Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems efficiently.
