Job summary

CareATC is hiring a Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver preventive, early intervention, and long-term wellness care for patients 2 and older. You’ll provide in-person and virtual visits with a focus on building lasting patient relationships in a supportive clinic setting.

Position requires 8 hours per week with clinic hours on Wednesdays from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a predictable schedule and opportunities for professional development through CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) board certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• Experience providing primary care to patients ages 2+.
• 2+ years of primary care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to complete required credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care through in-person and virtual visits when appropriate.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions for patients ages 2+.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications and therapies.
• Promote preventive care and wellness, including chronic disease management and education.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to support coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with medical, regulatory, and HIPAA requirements.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic environment focused on quality care.

About the Job

We're seeking a Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive primary care focused on prevention, early intervention, and long-term wellness. You'll care for patients ages 2 and older, managing acute and chronic conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and empowering patients through education and ongoing support. Position Hours: 8 hours per week

Clinic Operating Hours: Wednesdays | 6:00 AM-5:00 PM

Work Schedule: To be determined within clinic operating hours.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive primary care through in-person and virtual visits, as clinically appropriate
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions for patients ages 2+
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications and therapies
• Promote preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management through patient education
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other clinicians to support coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to applicable medical, regulatory, and HIPAA requirements
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic environment focused on quality care and patient outcomes

What You'll Bring

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) board certification
• Active DEA registration
