We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner (NP) to lead patient care at our clinic in Greenville, SC. The Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner (NP) plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of clinical trials and research studies. This position combines advanced clinical expertise with a strong understanding of research protocols and regulatory compliance. The NP is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, performing study-related procedures, and ensuring protocol adherence. Collaborating closely with investigators, study coordinators, patients, and sponsors, the NP helps drive accurate data collection, safeguards participant safety, and contributes to the integrity and success of each study throughout its lifecycle.
Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
25 hours per week to start.
Compensation: $65–$75 per hour
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct patient screening, enrollment, informed consent discussions, and follow-up visits according to study protocols.
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, physical exams, and collect patient medical histories.
• Administer study interventions, including investigational drugs, according to protocol guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Monitor participant progress and adverse events and communicate findings to the Principal Investigator (PI).
• Collaborate with research staff to ensure compliance with institutional review board (IRB) requirements, FDA regulations, and sponsor protocols.
• Document research data accurately in case report forms (CRFs) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Educate study participants about protocols, procedures, and potential side effects.
• Coordinate with laboratories, pharmacies, and diagnostic departments for timely sample processing and test results.
• Contribute to protocol development, feasibility assessments, and budget planning when applicable.
• Attend sponsor meetings, monitoring visits, and research team meetings.
Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP).
• Current Nurse Practitioner license and board certification (e.g., FNP, ANP, AGNP).
• At least 1–2 years of clinical experience as an NP; research experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Research (e.g., ACRP or SoCRA) is a plus.
• Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical research software.
