Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers seeks an APRN to perform prevention-based screenings, physicals and fitness evaluations while traveling to designated Fire/Police departments. The role emphasizes clinical assessment and education, with responsibilities including comprehensive head-to-toe exams and result interpretation.

Ideal candidates hold an active APRN license, ACLS/BLS, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office, imaging software and EMR platforms.

Responsibilities

• NP conducts head-to-toe physicals.
• Perform vision and hearing screening exams.
• Summarize all test results (labs, fitness evaluation and ultrasound) and provide guidance/recommendations on abnormalities.
• Lab interpretation with dietary recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS:

THIS POSITION REQUIRES REGULAR REGIONAL TRAVEL AS WELL AS NATIONAL TRAVEL TO DESIGNATED FIRE/POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCATIONS

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• NP conducts head-to-toe physicals
• Perform vision and hearing screening exams
• Summarize all test results (i.e. labs, fitness evaluation and ultrasound) and provide guidance/recommendations on any abnormalities (provide education and referral to PCP if needed – NO diagnosing or treatment)
• Lab interpretation with dietary recommendations
