Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Port Orange, FL, to provide outpatient primary care to a Medicare-aged population across multiple centers.

Ideal candidates are licensed in Florida as NP or PA, hold BLS/ACLS, and are comfortable traveling within the market to deliver high-quality care with a collaborative team. This is a direct hire opportunity with full benefits and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the employment state, active and not on probation.
• Experience in primary care: internal medicine, geriatrics, or family medicine.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Comfortable caring for a predominantly Medicare-aged, underserved patient population with comorbidities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients, families, and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient primary care responsibilities only.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, RNs, and center staff.
• Deliver high-quality primary care and address patients' medical and social needs.
• Travel within the market to multiple centers as needed.

Ideal candidates will be:

• Currently licensed to practice professional nursing or Physician Assistant in the state of employment, active and non-probationary
• Experienced in primary care: internal medicine, geriatrics, or family medicine
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Driven to and comfortable with managing a primarily Medicare-aged, medically underserved patient population with comorbid conditions
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
• Able to demonstrate interpersonal skills to be approachable and understandable to patients, families, and center team members
• Confident in their ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
• Passionate about their work and energized by being part of a fast growing organization
• Comfortable traveling within the market to multiple centers within short distance of each other
