Job summary

Integra Vascular seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide on-site vascular care at client facilities in the New York area. You will assess residents, order tests, and coordinate care with physicians under direction of the Medical Director.

Responsibilities include education of families, maintenance of relationships with facilities, and timely reporting. Travel to multiple sites and a strong patient-centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Current NP/PA license required.
• Degree from accredited NP/PA program.
• ACLS and infection control certification.

• Performs on-site screening clinical assessments to determine patient treatment plans of residents at client facilities.
• Conducts age-appropriate history and physical for perioperative patients.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relevant to patient needs.
• Assists with care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
• Maintains relationships with facility contacts.
• Educates family members, clients, and prospective accounts regarding services and programs.
• Completes weekly, monthly, and other reports, as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Performs on-site screening clinical assessments to determine appropriate patient treatment plans of residents at client facilities by the completion of a comprehensive assessment

• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill perioperative patients

• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs

• Assists with the provision of care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations

• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions

• Maintains relationships with all appropriate contacts in facilities

• Educates family members, clients, and prospective accounts regarding services and programs

• Assists with the development and maintenance of physician relations, as assigned

• Completes weekly, monthly, and other reports, as assigned, in a timely and comprehensive manner

• Other Duties as assigned by Medical Director

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant License

• Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Program

• ACLS

• Current infection control certification

• Strong clinical collaboration with physicians

• Proficient computer skills

• PACS and EMR experience preferred

• Committed to professional growth and learning

• Clean driving record

• Personally owned vehicle required

• Local travel required

• Not listed on the OIG exclusion list
