Associates in Gastroenterology in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our GI team in a clinic setting. This full-time role (4 days per week, 36 hours) offers autonomy, collaboration with physicians, and a variety of GI cases from acute to chronic care.

You will evaluate new consults and follow-ups, perform procedures with training, administer meds, and educate patients. We support education, growth, and a strong team dynamic.

Qualifications

• RN license required and NP program graduate.
• Board certification with prescriptive authority.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
• ACLS certification required.
• GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new patient consults and follow-up visits.
• Provide routine and urgent follow-up care in the clinic.
• Communicate care plans, notes, and test results with supervising physicians.
• Perform G-tube changes and hemorrhoid banding (training provided).
• Administer medications and injections; order and interpret labs and diagnostics.
• Conduct comprehensive physical exams and document findings.
• Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
• Coordinate care and connect patients with community resources.
• Maintain accurate records and provide telephone triage.
