Yowei Therapeutics in Milpitas, CA seeks a California Nurse Practitioner to provide protocol- and scope-authorized clinical care for research and longevity programs. The NP will perform assessments, support eligibility decisions, manage orders and follow-up within authority, and collaborate with the PI, nurses, CRCs, pharmacists, and external specialists.

Active, unrestricted California RN and NP licenses are required along with board certification.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California RN and NP licenses and current furnishing authority.
• National board certification in an appropriate population focus.
• 3+ years of NP experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Current BLS; ACLS or other certifications as required by procedures and site model.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, participant communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform protocol- and scope-authorized histories, physical examinations, and assessments.
• Order and interpret authorized laboratory, imaging, or other assessments.
• Prescribe or manage medications within approved authority and procedures.
• Identify and escalate adverse events and safety concerns.
• Provide participant education, counseling, and informed consent processes.
• Collaborate with investigators, nurses, pharmacists, and laboratories.
• Maintain source documentation and support data clarification and audits.
• Help develop practical clinical workflows and staff training.

Job description

Yowei Therapeutics and Yowei Oncology are stealth-stage life-sciences companies working closely with CSBio to advance peptide-based clinical programs. Their work spans longevity and peptide therapeutics, clinical trials, evaluation of a 503A pharmacy model, personalized synthetic neoantigen peptide oncology programs, and supporting microbiology and laboratory capabilities. Together, they are building the clinical, pharmacy, data, laboratory, and operational infrastructure needed to responsibly translate peptide programs into patient-facing studies and services. Both companies expect to remain in stealth through Q1 2027.

CSBio is a peptide contract manufacturing founded in 1993. CSBio initial products were a complete line of automated synthesizers for manufacturing and process development, with a focus on cGMP production. In 1994, CSBio opened a custom peptide facility and began producing high quality compounds for research organizations and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. In 2004, CSBio opened a peptide production facility in Menlo Park, CA and in 2014, CSBio expanded production capability through the addition of a new, state of the art building dedicated to cGMP peptide production. In 2017, CSBio passed a FDA inspection and were recommended to be approved for commercial drug substance manufacturing. In 2023, additional cGMP clinical production capacity was added in Milpitas, CA.

Yowei Therapeutics is seeking a California Nurse Practitioner to provide protocol- and scope-authorized clinical care for research and longevity programs under the approved medical-governance model. The NP will perform assessments, support eligibility and visit decisions, manage orders and follow-up within authority, and

Job Duties:

• Perform protocol- and scope-authorized histories, physical examinations, clinical assessments, eligibility reviews, and follow-up visits.

• Order and interpret authorized laboratory, imaging, or other assessments in accordance with the medical-governance model, protocol, and applicable law.

• Prescribe or manage medications only within the NP’s approved authority, standardized procedures or practice agreements as applicable, protocol, and site policies.

• Identify, document, and 'escalate adverse events, serious adverse events, protocol deviations, abnormal findings, and participant-safety concerns.

• Provide participant education, counseling, risk discussion, and follow-up while maintaining appropriate informed-consent and investigator boundaries.

• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator, Medical Director, nurses, CRCs, pharmacists, laboratories, and external specialists.

• Maintain complete, timely source documentation and support data clarification, monitoring, audits, and inspections.

• Help develop practical clinical workflows, visit templates, escalation pathways, emergency procedures, and staff training.

• Protect participant privacy and work only within approved protocols, clinical standards, and delegated authority.

• Active, unrestricted California RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses and current furnishing authority as required for the role.

• National board certification in an appropriate population focus.

• 3+ years of NP experience in a relevant clinical setting.

• Current BLS; ACLS or other certifications as required by the final procedures and site model.

• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, participant communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
