Job summary

Signaturecare Emergency Center Master in Midland, TX seeks an experienced nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our busy emergency care team. The ideal candidate holds a current NP license in Texas and has 5+ years in the role.

This is a full-time position with day and night shifts and a competitive hourly rate. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patient care, order tests, coordinate with specialists, and provide patient education while maintaining safety and productivity

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• A current state nurse practitioner license is required.
• 5+ years of NP/PA experience in emergency care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consultations and health history reviews.

Job Location: MIDLAND, TX 79707, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $95.00 - $105.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day/Night, We are looking for an experienced and dedicated nurse practitioner (NP/ PA) to join our staff. The individual in this role would be responsible for working in a busy Emergency Care Facility. Candidates should hold a nurse practitioner license in this state and have completed 5+ years of experience in the role.

Qualifications

• Facilitate new patient consultation and health history review
• Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients
• Order and administer tests, including blood work
• Review and interpret test results
• Diagnoses health problems
• Detect changes in patient condition
• Administer medications
• Operate medical equipment
• Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed
• Provide referrals to other practitioners when necessary
• Provide after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families
• Ensure patient records are kept up to date, including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Deliver quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics
• Able to perform laceration repairs, abscess drainage, splinting, and other noninvasive procedures.
• Exceptional patient interaction skills are required.
