Job summary

CivicMinds, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The NP will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based plans.

Responsibilities include exams, orders and interpretation of tests, diagnosis and management of conditions, prescribing, and patient education across clinic, inpatient, ED, and procedural settings. Immediate benefits and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP program.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience acceptable.
• Active NP/PA and RN licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management. The NP will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused physical exams and obtain medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate therapeutic treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on medications, nutrition, disease management, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Coordinate consultations and referrals when necessary.
• Provide specialty consultation services within the provider’s scope of practice.
• Manage patients across various healthcare settings, including clinic, inpatient, emergency, and procedural settings as required.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and demonstrated competency.
• Provide additional patient care coverage based on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Less than 1 year of experience acceptable.
• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP)/(PA) and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
