Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive health assessments for Medicare and Commercial patients, ensuring accurate clinical documentation and effective management of chronic conditions and preventive services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Managed Care/Medicare Advantage with emphasis on CMS risk adjustment and familiarity with HEDIS/Stars quality measures. UHS offers strong benefits and growth opportunities within its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas.
• Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program.
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive health assessments for Medicare and Commercial Patients with accurate clinical documentation and chronic condition management.
• Ensures preventive services are addressed and CMS risk adjustment considerations are applied.

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
