Job summary

Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva in California seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and preventive care in collaboration with physicians.

You will diagnose and treat illnesses, perform exams, order tests, manage medications, educate patients, and maintain accurate records in an EHR system.

Responsibilities:

• Function as a key member of the healthcare team, providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring patient-centered care.
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, interpret lab results, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Educate patients and families on preventative care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice.
• Adhere to Living Water Clinic’s mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care.
• Stay informed on the latest medical advancements, participating in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements:

Licensure & Certification:

• California RN license current and valid
• California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire)
• Nurse Practitioner National Certification
