Job summary

Taylor & Clifton Family Healthcare is seeking a General Practitioner to diagnose, treat, and help prevent common diseases and injuries on a full-time basis in our Kentucky practice. You will perform exams, order and interpret tests, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with specialists as needed to optimize patient outcomes.

You will explain procedures, discuss results, and support disease prevention through lifestyle guidance.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required (e.g., MD or DO).
• 1 year of related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe or administer medical care to treat or prevent illness.
• Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records to diagnose conditions.
• Record and maintain patient information.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results with patients.
• Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Deliver babies.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Train residents, medical students, and other health care professionals.
