Job summary

CUC Inc. is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the new Office-Based Lab in Cincinnati, OH. The APR will evaluate, prepare, and manage patients undergoing minimally invasive vascular procedures in a outpatient setting.

You will work with Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Specialists to establish workflows, deliver high-quality patient care, and support program growth in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate in NP from an accredited program.
  • Active Ohio NP license (or eligibility).
  • National Board Certification in FNP/AGNP/ACNP.
  • Current DEA license (or ability to obtain).
  • BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, physical examinations, and ongoing assessments.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage vascular patients within NP scope.
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Specialists.
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies, labs, and imaging.
  • Assist with pre-procedure evaluations, informed consent, and peri-procedural management.
  • Provide post-procedure follow-up, wound care, and continuity of care.
  • Perform office-based procedures within scope and protocols.

Why this Role is Unique

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to become one of the foundational clinical team members of our new Office-Based Lab in Cincinnati, OH.

Working alongside our Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Specialists, you will play a critical role in patient evaluation, procedural preparation, post-procedure management, and long‑term continuity of care. As one of the first advanced practice providers in the practice, you'll help establish clinical workflows, deliver exceptional patient experiences, and contribute to the continued growth of the program.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, physical examinations, and ongoing assessments.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), chronic venous disease, and other vascular conditions within the scope of advanced practice.
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Specialists.
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies, laboratory testing, and imaging.
  • Assist with pre‑procedure evaluations, informed consent, and peri‑procedural patient management.
  • Provide post‑procedure follow‑up, wound assessments, medication management, and continuity of care.
  • Perform office‑based procedures within the scope of practice and organizational protocols.
Patient Experience & Quality
  • Deliver exceptional patient‑centered care throughout the treatment journey.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, medications, and recovery expectations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for medical records, compliance, and billing.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Leadership & Growth
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to optimize patient care.
  • Support growth initiatives by participating in patient education and community outreach efforts.
  • Assist in developing clinical workflows, patient protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the PAD and TAME (Transcatheter Arterial Microembolization) programs.

Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
  • Current DEA license (or ability to obtain).
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, Cath Lab, Vascular Medicine, or related procedural specialty strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, Cath Lab, or outpatient procedural settings.
  • Strong interest in vascular disease management and outpatient interventional care.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Growth‑oriented mindset with the desire to help build an innovative Office‑Based Lab from the ground up.
Experience Evaluating And Managing Vascular Disease Patients Preferred.
  • Expertise (or willingness to learn) in pain mgmt. particularly of extremity joints like knee, foot/ankle, hip, shoulder, elbow, etc.
  • Interest in outpatient interventional care and emerging minimally invasive therapies.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
