The Nurse Practitioner oversees the quality of medical care delivered to meet the healthcare needs of the patients at Brynn Marr Hospital. Performs History and Physical examinations on all newly admitted patients. Provides medical consultations as needed. Completes documentation necessary to adhere to accepted medical standards of care. Provides medication management as needed. Appropriately requests consultation when indicated.
Education: Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
Experience: Prefer minimum of three years experience as a nurse practitioner including medication management.
License/Certification: Maintains national certification in nurse practitioner specialty area.
Skills: Strong clinical physical assessment skills and knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
