Job summary

Rezolut, LLC is hiring a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner in Cohoes, NY. The primary responsibility is to ensure patient safety during contrast injections in a medical imaging facility.

Ideal candidates will have NP certification with ACLS and BLS, strong communication, and the ability to work under general guidance with some autonomy. Opportunities include comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and initiate IV lines as needed.
• Supervise contrast patients and ensure safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with Technologist and patients.
• Identify potential contrast reactions and respond appropriately.
• Provide guidance to teammates to ensure patient safety.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time on site position for a free-standing Medical Imaging facility. Main responsibility to ensure safety of patients while receiving contrast injections. Previous experience working in imaging/radiology is a plus.

Essential functions of onsite Nurse Practitioner:

• Escorts patients to various exam rooms.
• Starts IV lines when needed.
• Has direct oversight and supervision of contrast patients.
• Assures that all safety questions and measures have been taken.
• Ability to have clear and direct communication with Technologist and patients.
• Ability to recognize and react to potential contrast reactions.
• Provides guidance and support to team members to assure patient safety.
• Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to support the team.

Education and Experience:

• Current NP Certification
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
