You will provide patient-centered oncology care across Mercy's Medical Oncology & Hematology practice, with travel to downtown Baltimore, Glen Burnie, Lutherville, and Overlea.

The role emphasizes education, medication management, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and patients to achieve health goals.

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing with Certified Nurse Practitioner credential.
• MD license to practice in Maryland.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions when needed.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe medications and order tests as appropriate for oncology patients.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and care goals.
• Be available for infusion-related escalation with patients, providers, and staff.
• Travel to Mercy locations in downtown Baltimore, Glen Burnie, Lutherville and Overlea.

Responsibilities

As one of the providers for a busy Medical Oncology & Hematology practice, the Nurse Practitioner will get a chance to work with a diverse population within Mercy's Institute for Cancer Care. This role in particular supports the health of multiple communities throughout Baltimore Metro area and makes a true difference in the quality of care patients receive. The Nurse Practitioner will take the time to learn about their patient and educate them on their conditions, playing a pivotal role in the patients overall health goals.

This position travels to Mercy's locations in downtown Baltimore, Glen Burnie, Lutherville, and Overlea.

Responsibilities include:

• Prescribing necessary medications and tests
• Educating oncology patients on the treatment plans of care
• Being available to patients, providers, and staff for infusion escalations

Requirements

• Masters in Nursing: Certified Nurse Practitioner
• License Requirements
  • The CRNP should be qualified and duly licensed and registered to practice medicine in Maryland and shall have current federal and Maryland narcotics numbers
  • Required CRNP
  • Required Healthcare Provider Level CPR
• Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
• Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.

USD $75.42/Hr.
