Qualifications

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC)
• Active Texas APRN license
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Experience in Womens Health, Gynecology, Primary Care, Wellness Medicine, Hormone Therapy, or Weight Management (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
• Provide gynecologic and wellness-focused care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on preventive health, hormone therapy, and lifestyle interventions
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing and laboratory results
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR (Athena)

Position Summary

The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to women in a busy outpatient Gynecology and Wellness practice. The ideal candidate is confident, patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering evidence-based care while helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness outcomes.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
• Provide gynecologic and wellness-focused care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on preventive health, wellness, hormone therapy, and lifestyle interventions
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing and laboratory results
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR (Athena)

In-Office Procedures Include (but are not limited to)

• Colposcopies
• Endometrial Biopsies
• IUD Insertions and Removals
• Nexplanon Insertions and Removals
• Biote Pellet Therapy
• GLP-1 Weight Management Services
• Preventive and Wellness Treatments
• Additional women's health and wellness procedures as offered by the practice

Qualifications Required

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC)

Preferred

• Minimum of 2-3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
