Job summary

Atlantic Health in Summit, New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to collaborate with a healthcare team in treating patients with diverse injuries, illnesses and disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, educate patients and document care accurately.

You will work with physicians and other nurses to assess needs, implement and evaluate nursing care plans, record vital signs and participate in ongoing patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
