Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Summit, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with a healthcare team in treating patients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, document care, educate patients, and consult with providers to optimize outcomes.

Required are RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program and BLS; a BSN and ACLS are preferred, with 1+ year of nursing experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing; ASN must complete BSN within five years.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
