Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking a part-time School Nurse for Saint Elizabeth School in Wyckoff, New Jersey. The role runs the 2026-27 school year, 3 days per week from 8:30am to 2:30pm. The hourly rate is $36-$40.

Responsibilities include immunization review, screenings, medications, and emergency care, with state reports and monthly health service submissions. Required: valid NJ RN license and CPR certification as per contract. Pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ RN license required by contract.
• RN license and CPR (BLS/Healthcare Provider) required by contract.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review immunization records for school age children.
• Assist with medical/dental screenings and growth screenings.
• Prepare and file state health reports as required.
• Conduct audiometric, scoliosis, vision, height and weight screenings.
• Provide first aid and emergency care as needed for pupils.
• Administer medications or treatments for school attendance.
• Notify parents of screening findings and follow-up actions.
• Submit monthly health services reports to Regional Director.

School Nurse (Part-Time)

2026-27 School Year

Saint Elizabeth School: Wyckoff, New Jersey

3 days/week: 8:30am-2:30pm

Hourly rate: $36-$40/hour

Responsibilities

• Review immunization records for school age children
• Assist with Medical/Dental Screenings
• Prepare and file state reports as required by law
• Conduct audiometric screenings
• Conduct scoliosis screenings
• Conduct vision screenings
• Conduct Height and Weight Screenings
• Provide other optional screenings as needed, ex. Blood Pressure, Lice
• Maintain student health records
• Administer medication and/or treatment when necessary for pupils to attend school
• Provide first aid and emergency care to all school age children
• Provide the following services as promulgated by individual State Law/Regulation:
• Notify parent/guardian if a screening defect is found upon screening and recommend appropriate follow-up
• Observe and recommend to principal, exclusion of students who show evidence of communicable diseases and/or whose immunization records are not received from parent/guardian after numerous attempts.
• Submit monthly report of health services and screenings performed to Catapult Learning Regional Director
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid NJ RN license, as required by contract.
• RN license and a Basic Life Support CPR - Professional Rescuer or Healthcare Provider card, as required by contract.

Preferred:

• Pediatric experience is desirable, but not necessary.

Pay Rate

USD $36.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
