Job summary

Join a well-established Midwest law firm as a Nurse Paralegal in Chicago, combining clinical nursing expertise with legal support in a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has healthcare litigation experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a nursing background in ER, Med-Surg, Neuro, Cardiac/Telemetry, Oncology, or Surgery/ICU settings.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of experience in healthcare-focused litigation
  • Nursing experience in ER, Med-Surg, Neuro, Telemetry/Cardiac, Oncology, or Surgery/ICU required
  • Insurance defense experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
