AZ RN license, BLS, AHA, and NRP within six months are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Arizona (AZ).
• American Heart Association certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for mothers and newborns.
• Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs, identify potential complications, intervene promptly to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care, promoting health, wellness, and empowerment.
• Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, value-driven care.
• Support the emotional well-being of mothers and families, embodying compassion, dignity, and patient advocacy in every encounter.
