Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will coordinate across the care continuum with a multidisciplinary team and ensure accurate orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years of RN patient care experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma or eNLC compact.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all patients in assigned area receive quality and comprehensive care.
• Coordinate patient care throughout the continuum with the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure proper documentation (Orders and Authorizations) are available and correct.
• Serve as a clinical resource for care management.
• Provide expert nursing care including direct clinical practice, education and research.
• Direct patient/family education and services for high-quality, economical care.
• Communicate with all team members on behalf of the patient.
• Collaborate with internal and external interdisciplinary team for excellent patient service.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and document staff development related to patient/family education and quality care.
