Qualifications

• BSN required; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily patient rounds during inpatient stay and reinforces education.
• Acts as liaison between the orthopaedic trauma patient, surgeon and care teams.
• Provides perioperative education to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supports preoperative and postoperative patient needs holistically.
• Participates in quality improvement and research to improve patient experience.
• Engages patient engagement committees and community outreach initiatives.
• Recruits and promotes participation in patient engagement activities.
• Participates in workshops and educational programs to advance musculoskeletal care.
