Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Nursing invites applications for a certified nurse midwife to join our dynamic faculty team, teaching in the nurse midwifery and women’s health nurse practitioner program. The role includes didactic teaching, student assessment, and supervising clinical experiences on a 12-month, in-person schedule.

Requirements include a master's degree, active RN and APRN-CNM licensure in Ohio, and at least two years of midwifery practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctoral degree or current enrollment in doctoral program preferred; RN and APRN-CNM license required.
• At least two years of recent experience and current practice as a midwife required.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the nurse midwifery and women’s health NP program.
• Prepare and deliver didactic coursework and evaluate student learning.
• Oversee experiential learning in the clinical setting.
