Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, Arizona, invites a certified nurse midwife to join a midwifery-led team dedicated to evidence-based, patient-centered care. You will provide full-scope midwifery services and collaborate within an integrated system to support physiologic birth.

New and experienced CNMs are welcomed, with strong mentoring, supportive staff, and opportunities for professional growth in a thriving community setting.

Qualifications

• AMCB certified CNM with active licensure in Arizona or eligibility.
• Arizona CNM license or eligibility to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, family planning, and well-patient GYN care.
• Share coverage model with call rotation designed for work-life balance.
• Lead, teach, and shape a growing midwifery-led model within Banner's integrated system.
• Collaborate with OB/Gyn back up that trusts and champions midwifery.
• Receive excellent MA, nursing and administrative support to focus on patient care.
• Commit to physiologic birth and evidence-based birth.

What we're looking for:

• AMCB certified CNM
• Arizona CNM license (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in full-scope midwifery (preferred) or 2 or more years' experience in L&D
• Comfort with independent practice in patient and outpatient with both prenatal and Gyn Care
