Responsibilities

• Manages antepartum, intrapartum, & postpartum patients under physician supervision.
• Performs history taking and physicals and orders tests as needed.
• Provides counseling and teaching to patients and families.
• Manages obstetric emergencies and collaborates with physicians for plan of care.
• Participates in teaching/education activities and research within the unit.
