Job summary

Legacy Health in Oregon is seeking a qualified nurse-midwife to provide comprehensive antepartum, postpartum, and well-woman care within our Midwifery Services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, adherence to practice protocols, and participation in outpatient care, with non-exempt status and variable hours.

Current CNM certification, prescriptive privileges, and BLS are required, along with an active hospital staff membership.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state.
• CNM with prescriptive privileges (NMNP-PP) or NP with prescriptive privileges (NP-PP) required.
• Full scope women’s healthcare and midwifery experience preferred.
• Ability to conduct research and communicate with tact.

Responsibilities

• Provides antepartum, post-partum, family-planning and well-woman gynecological care independently.
• Collaborates with consulting physicians as clinically indicated.
• Participates in daily midwifery service operations.
• Follows policies and procedures established by Legacy Portland Hospitals.
• Involves outpatient care and non-exempt, variable hours.
