Registered Nurse Unit Manager

Concord Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY.

DUTIES:

1. Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
2. Completes Resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nurses and staff.
3. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing support to Residents and families.
4. Provides information to Residents and health care team.
5. Maintains safe and clean working environment.
6. Maintains Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
7. Maintains documentation of Resident care services.
8. Maintains nursing supplies inventory.
9. Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams.
10. Develops an individualized comprehensive care plan.
11. Maintains timely documentation of patients.
12. Maintains supervision of staff and facility.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must hold valid New York State RN License.
2. LTC Experience Preferred.
3. Basic computer skills.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Must have a willingness to work as a team member.
