Qualifications
- Requires associate degree in nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of supervisor or Charge RN experience.
- Experience with children/adolescents in Behavioral Health required.
- Three years in behavioral health setting preferred.
- Current RN license in Michigan.
- Current certification in BLS/CPR required.
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 operations of the acute Child/Adolescent unit.
- Set goals and objectives; communicate with staff, patients, families, and regulators.
- Prepare reports, write policies, and document minutes for department meetings.
- Participate in Non-Violent Crisis Interventions on the unit.
- Demonstrate organizational and basic computer skills.
- Supervise staff as Charge RN.
