Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Current RN licensure in Florida is required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour responsibility for directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of the Unit.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate the nursing staff.
• Contribute to staff development and quality improvement within the department.
• Plan and administer the annual budget in collaboration with the Director, Nursing.
• Integrate evidence-based practice using the nursing process and demonstrate service excellence.
